•Well in 1950 it was the date that the first seedless water melon was grown!....but in 2008 it’s the date of Bighton's biggest fete…..so clear your diary and come and enjoy family fun at the village rugby ground from 2.00pm

J Win a helicopter (well actual a ride!) J ‘stock up the potting shed’ homemade pottery and bonsai J ‘Keep them quiet’ family book and CD bargains J ‘Haggle’ at the famous white elephant stall J Win a bottle (don’t let the wife see it!) J village tombola (Better odds then the lottery) J ‘Keep the flock together’ with Jims walking stick demo J Village photos and calendar (who used to live in your house?)

JFun dog show (hopefully for the dogs too!) J Bouncy castle (like Windsor only smaller) J lots of static displays of vintage caravans to classic car pride and joys J have a go at loads of games from ‘splat the rat’ through to ‘wanging wellies’
